The European Hematology Association (EHA) published an updated EHA Research Roadmap. The Roadmap presents research and clinical science priorities in hematology, therefore supporting a more informed, focused, and ideally a more funded future for European hematology research. Notably, the updated Roadmap highlights the continued need for evidence for safe and effective use of blood components, including how donor/donation characteristics impact on outcomes after transfusion.
