The ERN-EuroBloodNet supported the 19th Annual Scientific Conference organized by the Academy for Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia (ASCAT), convened in London (United Kingdom) from 2 to 5 October in collaboration with the British Society of Haematology and the European Hematology Association (EHA). As part of the conference, that provided an opportunity for healthcare professionals, researchers and patient representatives to engage with each other, ERN-EuroBloodNet coordinated sessions dedicated to patients suffering from sickle cell disease, during which advocates could provide insights on the challenges they confront in remaining healthy.
