The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and HealthCare (EDQM) of the Council of Europe has opened the registration period for its upcoming Blood Conference, that will be organised on 14 and 15 January 2025 in Strasbourg (France). The conference will centre around innovation in blood establishment processes and will devote particular attention to the implementation of novel developments linked to blood component preparation and blood donation. Speakers at the gathering will include healthcare professionals and clinicians, representatives of national blood centres, industry representatives, and members of stakeholder organisations active in the field of haematology.
