Blood and Beyond participates in EAfPA’s a Blood Health Stakeholder Roundtable

On 4 December, the European Alliance for Patient Access (EAfPA), which is the European division of the Global Alliance for Patient Access (GAfPA), held a multi-stakeholder roundtable in Brussels. The goal of the meeting was to convene experts and advocates to exchange good practices and discuss the key barriers and possible solutions needed to improve blood health. Blood and Beyond was invited to participate in the roundtable, sharing with participants its advocacy and awareness-raising experience influencing European policies to advance blood health in Europe. As an output of the meeting, Blood and Beyond, GAfPA, and other participating stakeholders sent policy recommendations to the European Commission to try to influence the content of the European Cardiovascular Health Plan by linking the relationship between poor blood health and cardiovascular diseases.
